Research On The Influence Of Regional Innovation Capability Of Gansu Province On The Quality Of Economic Growth

Since China's economy has entered a new normal,the economic growth rate has gradually slowed down,and the mode of economic growth has also been driven by traditional factors to drive innovation.Improving regional innovation capability has become an important measure to promote regional economic growth.The neoclassical economic growth shows that the growth of the economy stems from technological progress,and technological progress largely depends on the ability to innovate,so the improvement of innovation capability promotes the improvement of the quality of economic growth.As an underdeveloped region in the west,Gansu Province studies regional innovation capabilities and plays an important role in transforming economic production methods and improving the quality of economic growth.Based on the related research of regional innovation and economic growth,this paper demonstrates the relationship between the two.Firstly,through the analysis of the development status of innovation ability in Gansu Province,the development characteristics of Gansu Province are obtained.On this basis,Gansu Province analyzes the development of circular economy and green industry in recent years,and finds that in the process of improving the quality of economic growth in Gansu Province,the regional innovation ability has limited impact on the development of circular economy and green industry,so the area isupgraded.Innovative ability is an important guarantee for promoting the development of two economic demonstration zones.Secondly,the entropy method is used to measure the economic growth quality level of Gansu Province from 2003 to 2016,and its various dimensions are analyzed.Finally,through the establishment of VAR model,the cointegration test,Granger causality test,impulse response function and variance decomposition model are used to empirically analyze the relationship between the two.The conclusion is as follows: the regional innovation capability and economic growth quality of Gansu Province have been improved during the observation period,which is mainly due to the increase of innovation investment,the improvement of enterprise innovation capability and the improvement of innovation environment.The continuous improvement of the quality of economic growth during the observation period is inseparable from the development concept of green,coordinated,open and shared.During the observation period,the improvement of regional innovation capability has limited impact on the economic growth quality of Gansu Province.This is mainly related to the fact that the overall innovation capability of enterprises in Gansu Province is weak,and the scientific and technological achievements brought by innovation are difficult to market.Therefore,further improving the innovation environment and attaching importance to the role of enterprises and talents in the process of innovation are importantguarantees for enhancing the role of regional innovation in promoting the economy.
