China's commercial banks has experienced the "planned economy" and "market economy”since the cultural revolution.The banking industry is continuous self-improving and developing.Transitioning from "the supply system" during the planned economy period,to the "moderate competition" of the market economy,China's commercial banks has gradually formed a situation:The four major state-owned banks as leaders,national joint-stock commercial banks are blossoming,local banks are gradually rising,foreign banks are omni-directional entering.Banking industry has been showing a situation of fully competition.While talent competition is an important part of banking competition.So how to attract and retain talents is being a crux of the matter that every commercial bank is actively concerned about.G bank is one of the four largest state-owned banks,which are facing the dilemma of the frequent resignation of employees.Especially since 2014,the decline of domestic economic situation led to the decline of entire banking industry,G bank is not spared,the asset quality declines and the employee compensation reduce.This is undoubtedly a disaster to the state-owned banks who themselves have few competitiveness in employee compensation,then the employees' emotions of resignation spread,and the resignation rate keeps high.While those employees are the ones who have rich experience in management,business and customer resources.Those employees tends to continue to work in the financial industry,they may select a new post with higher position and more salary.The resignation of those employees weakens the competitiveness of G bank on one hand,on the other hand,it improves that of the opponents at a great probability.So this problem is becoming an urgent one that must be solved as soon as possible.This paper selects the angle of compensation satisfaction that has significant impacts on employee resignation to research.,discussed the mechanism of compensation satisfaction and resignation tendency of the state-owned bank employees through theoretical research and analysis of the sample data,and show the differences between the employees of state-owned bank and others.This paper also makes a multi-dimensional analysis of compensation satisfaction and resignation tendency,enriches the cognition of the relationship between them,and selects demographic variables to analyze the differences in each dimension,so as to find out the corresponding measures to reduce the resignation tendency of employees in different situations,and to reduce the resignation tendency of employees more pertinently,so as to curb the high resignation tendency of employees.This research discusses through the following structure:First,the literature review,summarize the relevant theories and research achievements of scholars at home and abroad.Second,design a questionnaire.We constructed a questionnaire which accords with the current situation of compensation satisfaction and resignation tendency based on the aforementioned theory and the actual situation of this bank,and obtained the data needed by the research by issuing and retrieving the questionnaire.Third,data analysis and research.We did the statistical analysis of the sample data with SPSS 19.0 statistical analysis software,and get the relationship between employee satisfaction and resignation tendency in all dimensions.Fourth,analysis and summary of the research result.We have given out the enlightenment of the theory and practice from multiple perspectives analysis,and made some suggestions such as the system reconstruction,organization guarantee,cultural identity.This research provides a theoretical basis of rebuilding the compensation system and reducing the resignation tendency,and it also provides a reference for other state-owned commercial banks on employee's compensation management.
