In today's rapid economic development,competition among various industries has intensified,and competition among enterprises has long been not a simple competition for products or services,but a competition for business models.Scholars' research on business models suggests that business models do have a positive impact on business performance.But how to guide enterprises to gain competitive advantage through business model is worth considering and studying.This paper takes China Youth Travel Holdings Co.,Ltd.(hereinafter referred to as “China Youth Travel”)as the research object,mainly through the theory of business model,enterprise performance and business model and business performance,using quantitative analysis methods and case analysis methods.Through the collection of business model changes and enterprise performance related data,the two business model changes of CYTS were described in the research process,and the elements of the business model were analyzed to obtain the changing elements.The changes of these factors promoted the business model of the enterprise.change.Then it evaluates the performance of the two stages of change,and discusses the mechanism of the change of business model to the performance of the enterprise.This paper draws the following conclusions through research:First of all,CYTS's business model has undergone two changes,each time due to changes in the components of different business models.The first business model change was caused by the mining of the intrinsic potential of the original tourism business.The main characteristics are reflected in the distribution channel,customer segmentation and customer relationship.The distribution channel has added online sales channels,and customer segmentation has increased online and offline.In terms of customer relationships,companies can more accurately meet customer needs.The second business model change was caused by the business strategy of the company.The main characteristics are reflected in the three components of key business,core resources and partners.The change is mainly because CYTS has expanded its business by acquiring or injecting other enterprises,and has added scenic spots and hotel business to the main tourism industry.Hotels and scenic spots have also become their core resources of competitiveness.Secondly,in the research on the relationship between the business model change and corporate performance of CYTS,it is found that the impact of the first business model change on corporate performance is mainly because the emergence of new sales channels has caused the company's tourism business to radiate to new consumer groups,thus enabling Increased corporate performance.The positive impact of the second business model change on corporate performance is due to the correlation between the tourism industry,the scenic spot and the hotel industry and the synergy effect of the scale of the multi-business.On this basis,the mechanism model of business model change on enterprise performance is constructed.The impact of business model change on firm performance is formed by income source and cost structure.Under the guidance of the “development” strategy and the “exploration” strategy,the company separately explores the internal potential and pursues external opportunities.The mining of internal potential generates revenue streams through the interaction of customer segments,customer relationships and distribution channels.External opportunities form a cost structure with the interaction of partners,core resources and key businesses.The two are connected by enterprise value,and at the same time,the contradiction between business relevance adjustments.Based on the research on the relationship between the business model reform and corporate performance of CYTS,this study found the factors that caused the two changes in its business model,and studied the mechanism of its impact on corporate performance.Provide reference for business model innovation of other travel agencies.
