In our country,the shantytown is under the rapid economic development of special products,compared with foreign slums,have their similarities: area most of the residents living environment is poor,low income level,through their own efforts to change the status quo of ability is limited;But the main difference: and slums slum living abroad are often unemployed,give priority to with proletarians even rogue proletarians,and shanty towns in our country,is largely urban aborigines,generally have a formal professional work.With the rapid development of our country’s economy and expansion of urban areas within the environmental facilities,personnel,complex structure,lack of housing security hidden danger more shanty towns have seriously restricted the improvement of living standards,local residents also has a negative influence to the urban development.In 2005,in the context of revitalizing the old industrial base in northeast China,China began to explore the upgrading of shantytowns.As an important part of urban low-income housing projects,turn shantytowns into new housing areas to improve people’s living standard,the improvement of people’s living conditions,to speed up the pace of urban development,alleviate contradictions among city with great historical and realistic significance.This article adhere to the combination of theory and practice,from the perspective of public management,combining with the theory of sociology,management and so on,using a variety of research methods,the chongqing PengGai course,Gui and summarizes the present situation and the model for further research.By shanty towns transformation experience at home and abroad,the mechanism of financing system,improve the expropriation and relocation policy,increasing people’s livelihood security shantytown three aspects put forward the countermeasures and Suggestions,such as with central new shantytown renovation work,work to promote chongqing’s shanty towns transformation process.
