Abstract/Summary:
Enterprise training is an important part of the enterprise management system. It not only can improve the work skills of employees, but also has a profound impact on the shaping of their ideology. In the era of knowledge economy, the competition and occupation of high-quality talents has become the key to winning the competition in the domestic and foreign markets. The company hopes to shape its employees into a group of high-quality and high-loyalty living production tools, who not only should meet certain standards in skills, but also should be branded with the enterprise on the soul.In this context, the regulatory role of training is gradually being valued and further developed by future capitalists.Enterprises try to use training to manage and control employees both physically and mentally. However, employees are not objects who resign themselves to adversity. They will adopt various effective coping strategies according to their own resistance,so as to obtain the best interests for themselves. How do the two powers interact behind the corporate discipline and employee resistance? This is an important issue worth studying. Therefore, based on Foucault’s micro power theory, this thesis discusses the power interaction between enterprises and employees in the field of enterprise training from the perspectives of discipline and resistance.First of all, this thesis summarizes the theory of enterprise training and micro-power from the theoretical level, and puts forward the shortcomings of previous research. There are two main points:First, the analysis of the role of enterprise training in the capitalist system is one-sided,and does not grasp the essence of training;second, the previous research overemphasizes the constraints and restrictions of enterprise training, ignoring the initiative of employees. Then,on the basis of theory, this thesis conducts an empirical r-esearch on the B enterprise, and summarizes the disciplined techniques of enterprises in the enterprise training field by means of participation observation and in-depth interviews using physical and cultural mechanisms to control the physical and soul of employees, and using three practical techniques of hierarchical, standardized ruling, inspection and punishment to further consolidate the effectiveness of discipline. Then, the study also analyzes the employees’resistance strategy in detail:they chose to use minimum compliance as a common means of resistance to discipline, such as private opinions to HR,delays, negative participation, and resignation.Behind enterprise training is the game and collusion of power between the company and its employees. In summary, the theoretical contribution of this study has two main points:first,it makes one thing clear that modem enterprise training is essentially a dual discipline of body and spirit, and spiritual discipline gradually becomes an important orientation;second,it discovers the powerful weapon of resistance of employees and the individual differences and instrumental rationality of their resistance.
