Since entering the 21 st century,China's financial market opening and financial system reform have continued to deepen,and the development of Internet finance is getting better and better.As the most important service subject in the modern financial market and the operational hub of economic development,commercial banks face enormous competition in such an internal environment.In addition,the external environment is not optimistic.As the mainstay of the financial sector,in the face of rapid changes in the environment,we must take measures to enhance our overall strength.This paper starts from the aspect of commercial bank performance management,and analyzes how to improve the existing performance management methods of commercial banks,thus improving the efficiency,service level and competitiveness of commercial banks.The traditional performance appraisal method is too singular,paying too much attention to the bank's financial indicators,while ignoring the bank's healthy operations and the realization of strategic goals.The use of the Balanced Scorecard in commercial banks enables commercial banks to enhance the evaluation of financial indicators while taking into account the comprehensive evaluation of multiple dimensions such as customer level,operational level and bank growth level,which achieves the combination of performance evaluation and strategic objectives.After entering this century,many commercial banks in China have introduced balanced scorecards in performance evaluation,and have achieved certain results,but at the same time there are also a series of problems,so that the balanced scorecard failed to play its biggest role..Based on the research on the performance evaluation of commercial banks and the balanced scorecard at home and abroad,this paper analyzes the traditional performance appraisal methods in China and compares them with the balanced scorecard to find the advantages of the latter.Combined with the development background of China's commercial banks and the current environment,the paper analyzes the significance of the application of balanced scorecards in bank performance evaluation.Subsequently,the Bank of China's HN sub-behaviours that have implemented the Balanced Scorecard Performance Management System are used for their use and problems.Based on the strategic goal of HN branch,the key indicators of four dimensions of HN branch balanced scorecard are constructed based on the redrawing of strategic map,and the operational analytic method is used to set the weight,and the balanced scorecard is improved in Bank of China HN branch.The use of the situation.At the same time,it has certain reference and participation value for other commercial banks that use the balanced scorecard method for performance evaluation,and promotes its further improvement and optimization of the existing performance evaluation system.
