This paper takes the new generation knowledge workers as the research object,and empirical research draws the influence mechanism of emotional labor's different expression ways on innovative performance.Among them,the deep performance and the expression of naturally felt emotions are positively affecting the innovative performance,while the negative effect of surface performance on innovation performance is not obvious;The work engagement plays a mediating role role in the relationship between the deep performance and the innovative performance,as well as the expression of naturally felt emotions and innovative performance;In addition to personal factors,the perceived organizational support,one kind of organizational factor,is also included in the research framework.The research proves that perceived organizational support can positively regulate the relationship between deep performance,the expression of naturally felt emotions and work engagement,and can also positively regulate the relationship between work engagement and innovative performance.In the course of the questionnaire survey,a total of 386 valid questionnaires were collected through my personal network,and the samples were mainly distributed in Beijing and Shandong.In the process of data analysis,this paper uses the Bootstrap to test the mediation effect,and the centralized product index method to test the adjustment effect,which lays a foundation for the correct conclusion of the research.For the relationship between emotional labor and innovative performance,previous research is rare,and the conclusions are not the same due to different research perspectives and research objects.This paper selects the main carriers of enterprise innovative performance,the new generation knowledge workers,as the research object.According to the resource preservation theory,action theory and social exchange theory,this paper expands the previous theoretical framework and applicable objects of emotional labor,and enriches the research results of emotional labor outcome variables,by putting the work engagement as the intermediary variable,and the perceived organizational support as the adjustment variabler.Moreover,from the perspective of combining personal and organizational perspectives,this paper explains in detail the process of emotional labor acting on innovative performance.This research can enable business managers to pay attention to the positive impact of emotional labor on innovative performance,and provide better organization support to motivate employees to work with greater enthusiasm,create more value for the company,and also help employees to improve innovative performance by expressing their emotions more reasonably.
