Research On The Performance Evaluation Of Financial Poverty Alleviation In Datong

As China enters a new era,under the guidance of the theory of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era of Xi Jinping,the strategic thinking of targeted poverty alleviation should be put in the primary position of poverty alleviation and development.Under the goal of building a moderately prosperous society in all respects by 2020,China's poverty alleviation and development will enter a decisive stage.With the progress of poverty alleviation and development in China,the financial poverty alleviation is the main source of the poverty alleviation and development funds in our country.It plays an important role in the development of poverty alleviation.Therefore,the research of how to improve the performance of financial poverty alleviation will greatly increase the effect of poverty reduction.Datong,as the second largest city in Shanxi Province,is located in the poverty-stricken area of Yanshan-Taihang Mountain.There are four districts and seven counties,among which six counties are state-level poverty-stricken counties,and the region is deeply impoverished.To this end,the study of the financial poverty alleviation performance of Datong can effectively promote the task of poverty alleviation here.First of all,taking Datong's financial poverty alleviation as the research object,this paper analyzes the domestic and foreign research status quo of the financial performance.And based on the related theory of poverty and theory of financial performance,it also makes a detailed introduction of the general situation of Datong's development and the financial investment in poverty alleviation.It lays a foundation for the performance evaluation of financial poverty alleviation in Datong.Secondly,by using Data Envelopment Analysis(DEA)to evaluate the financial performance of poverty alleviation of the six poor counties in Datong from 2002 to 2016.And according to the analysis of the evaluation results,summed up the main problems of financial poverty alleviation in Datong.Finally,aiming at the main problems of poverty alleviation in Datong area,we put forward five countermeasures to improve the performance of Datong's financial poverty alleviation from the following aspects:infrastructure in poor areas,raising funds for poverty alleviation,education level,the efficiency of poverty alleviation funds and social assistance.
