Research On The Profit Model Of Private Banking

With the rapid development of China's economy,China's rich class is more and more huge,and high net worth people have more and more assets,and private wealth market is growing;At the same time,with the older generation of entrepreneurs "rich" into the middle-aged and old-aged,the demand for wealth inheritance services is also increasing,and the demand for the top-level structure design of family business is also increasing,a new generation of high net worth people began to show the top,the upstart in internet and other new industries,professional managers and other professional gold-collar has become a new force in China's private wealth market,and gradually grow into a backbone.As one of the first commercial banks to set up private banks,China merchants bank(CMB)was the first commercial bank to make profits in its private banking business.Therefore,China merchants bank(CMB)was chosen as an example to study the profit model of private banking business.Firstly,this paper introduces the background,significance and literature review.Secondly,the private bank,profit model and other concepts are described and defined,and introduce the relevant theory on the basis of this paper;Thirdly,it analyzes the current situation of domestic private banking and draws lessons from the experience of leading private banks abroad.Then,construct the profit model of private banking;Then take private banking business of China merchants bank as an example to conduct a case study,briefly analyze the current development of private banking of China merchants bank by SWOT analysis,analyze the profit model of private banking business of China merchants bank,and evaluate its profit model from financial analysis such as profitability and operating income.Finally,it puts forward the research conclusion and enlightenment of China merchants bank's private banking business and its profit model development,and thinks that the development of China's private banking should be carried out from several aspects such as the reform of division system and the deepening of wealth inheritance service.
