A Study On The Relationship Between College Students' Entrepreneurial Stress,Entrepreneurial Stress Management And The Performance Of Start-up Enterprise

With the development of entrepreneurship,promoting employment by entrepreneurship has become a consensus.With the expansion of university enrollment and the increase of graduates,the employment forms of college students are becoming more and more severe.Influenced by the severe employment situation,and driven by the mass innovation boom,entrepreneurship has become lots of college students' first choice.However,because of the particularity of their identity,college students need to study while starting a business.Compared with ordinary entrepreneurs,they faced with more special pressure of entrepreneurship,such as academic pressure,recognition pressure,achievement pressure and so on.How to manage business pressure effectively,and improve business performance,has become an important problem.(1)A semi-structured interview was conducted with 12 college student entrepreneurs,and the data were analyzed qualitatively by taking root theory to explore the dimensionality structure of entrepreneurial stressors in Chinese context.The entrepreneurial pressure of college students in Chinese context includes four dimensions: entrepreneurial involvement,competition intensity,resource demand and knowledge reserve.(2)A questionnaire survey was conducted among 321 university entrepreneurs,and the data collected were analyzed by using the structural equation model..The empirical results show that the entrepreneurial pressure of college students has a positive impact on the performance of the start-up enterprise,and the overall entrepreneurial pressure of the college students can positively affect the performance of the start-up enterprise.Entrepreneurial involvement pressure can positively affect survival performance,growth performance and development performance,competition intensity pressure can positively affect enterprise growth performance,development performance,resource demand pressure positively affect enterprise survival performance and growth performance.Knowledge reserve pressure has a positive effect on the survival performance,growth performance and development performance of the enterprise;the entrepreneurial stress management strategy can positively adjust the relationship between the entrepreneurial pressure of college students and the performance of the new enterprise in all dimensions,only in the competition intensity and the survival performance of the enterprise.The relationship between resource demand and enterprise development performance does not play a regulatory role.(3)This paper puts forward countermeasures and suggestions to actively manage entrepreneurial pressure from the four levels of college students' entrepreneurs themselves,schools,government and society.On the university student entrepreneur level,we should face up to the entrepreneurial pressure and actively carry out entrepreneurial stress management.On the government level,we should increase support and create a good entrepreneurial environment.On the school level,we should strengthen entrepreneurship education and give policy support.On the social level,we should create a good entrepreneurial atmosphere.
