The 21 st century,the rapid development of national economy,and the disposable income of the people has been constantly increasing,which is followed by the upgrading of consumption concept and consumption structure.Dairy products have become an important part of daily consumption of ordinary people.Along with the development of the dairy industry progresses day by day,according to the wave to face a series of challenges,both at home and abroad consumers of dairy products quality and variety are also put forward stricter requirement,especially for liquid milk,cold drinks,milk powder,yogurt,high value-added products demand becomes more intense.Dairy companies face competitive pressure from their domestic counterparts,as well as "input" challenges from foreign imports of dairy products.With the frequent occurrence of domestic dairy product safety problems,consumers have gradually lost confidence in our dairy products,and food safety has become the primary consideration for consumers to buy dairy products.With the rise of e-commerce platforms,a large number of foreign dairy products have poured into the domestic market to grab a share.Faced with such fierce competition environment,China's dairy companies realize that cannot be one-sided pursuit of market share and brand awareness.Only by finding a profitable model suitable for the development of the enterprise can the enterprise achieve long-term development.In this paper,the background,purpose of the case study were firstly expounded by literature analysis and case analysis.Secondly,on the basis of summarizing and absorbing the domestic and foreign profit model theory,the profit model of the dairy industry and the composition of the profit model of the dairy industry are proposed.Finally,the paper analyzes the development course of yili company,the components of the industry value chain,based on the profit model of factors analysis of yili company profit model,and then further insight into the key elements of the yili company profit model,profit leverage,barrier;In yili company annual reports in 2012-2012 financial data,for example,in combination with dupont analysis,cash flow method,detailed analysis of its earnings,Cornwall grading method in financial Angle and analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of its profit model,and provide other dairy products enterprise development experiences and lessons.According to the research,yili should continue to follow the diversified profit model.To reduce the cost of milk and insist on the quality to attract the compare profit;We will insist to promote the integration of domestic and international resources and strengthen the profit barrier.At the same time,we are actively doing a good job in the industry,providing experience and lessons for other small and medium-sized enterprises in the dairy industry to promote the healthy and prosperous development of our dairy industry.
