Since the communication industry started in the 1980 s and 1990 s,tremendous changes have taken place under the influence of globalization.When the industry established on last century,we totally rely on the foreign technology;by the development of Chinese technology,we broken the monopoly of foreign technology to the domestic market;after the 21 st century Chinese communications equipment manufacturing industry has gradually grown and expanded,and exports have brought communications.After the economic crisis,the developed countries revitalized the manufacturing industry and committed to the development of high-end smart manufacturing.Facing with the redevelopment plan of the manufacturing industry in developed countries,China has also proposed the “Made in China 2025”,which emphasizes the importance of innovation to manufacturing.As an important component of high-tech industries,technology innovation is an important factor in promoting its development.Reviewing the history of technological innovation in Chinese communication equipment manufacturing industry,from relying entirely on foreign production technologies to imitating innovation to strengthening scientific research inputs and active independent innovation,technological innovation capabilities have also improved with the development of communications equipment manufacturing industry.But compared with developed countries,there are still deficiencies in the technological innovation of Chinese communications equipment industry.Therefore,based on the perspective of technological innovation to study the international competitiveness of this industry,on the one hand,we can see the development of the international competitiveness and technological innovation capability of Chinese communications equipment manufacturing industry in recent years;and on the other hand,We can know the degree of contribution of technological innovation factors to international competitiveness.This article studies the international competitiveness of communications equipment manufacturing industry from the perspective of technological innovation.The first two chapters review the research results of domestic and foreign scholars,and introduce the concept of international competitiveness,related theories,and evaluation systems.The third chapter expounds the development history and development status of Chinese communication equipment manufacturing industry,and evaluates the current status of its international competitiveness through the previous combing indicators such as MS and RCA.At the same time,from the perspective of technological innovation,evaluates its innovation ability.In the fourth chapter,a comprehensive evaluation system of international competitiveness was built on the basis of previous scholars’ research,and the comprehensive score of international competitiveness was calculated and used as an explanatory variable.At the same time,use principal component analysis to extract main component as core explanatory variable indicators;and based on the diamond model,analyze other factors that may affect the international competitiveness of the communications equipment manufacturing industry,select appropriate indicators to measure,and establish regressions as control variables.equation.Using the data of 2001-2016 using Eviews software for regression analysis,the regression analysis results show that independent R&D innovation has a positive impact on international competitiveness,and the introduction of innovation has no significant impact on international competitiveness in the current period and can lag behind for a certain period of time.International competitiveness has an impact.Finally,based on the status quo analysis and empirical analysis results,this paper believes that in order to maintain and improve the international competitiveness of communications equipment manufacturing industry,it is necessary to increase investment in innovation,strengthen R&D intensity,adhere to independent innovation,and increase the contribution of technological innovation to international competitiveness. |
