Building the "One Belt and One Road" is an initiative of China. It is also the common desire of China and the countries along the route. The ?One Belt and One Road? sea and land routes will expand China's agricultural exports, provide a broader market outlook for agricultural development, and open the door for China's agriculture to move toward the world.Although agriculture faces enormous opportunities for development,in reality, increasingly stringent entry barriers to foreign markets such as ?trade barriers and green barriers? still restrict the export of Chinese agricultural products. Therefore, how to improve the quality of agricultural products is a competition for agricultural enterprises to gain market competition.Advantages and the key to the world. This study is based on the theory of social capital. From the perspective of social capital,it studies the relationship between the dimensions of social capital and the effect of each dimension on quality performance, and further validates the role of supply chain integration in moderating the relationship between social capital and quality performance.A questionnaire survey was conducted on 184 companies and 414 households in Guangdong Province and Hainan Province.SPSS17.0 and SmartPLS2.0 software were used to analyze the reliability and validity of the data. Then test the conceptual model and research of the study were conducted. The results of the study show that:(1)The shared values and communication between the company and farmers' perspectives are both positive on reciprocity. In terms of the degree of influence on reciprocity, the communication from the perspective of the company is higher than the shared values, and the shared values of farmers' perspectives are greater than the communication;(2)The three dimensions of social capital have different effects on quality performance. The shared values?communication and reciprocity of the company's perspective have a significant positive effect on quality performance. The order of their effects is: reciprocity?communication and shared values. On the farmer's side, reciprocity and shared values positively affect quality performance.Communication does not have Significant role, the degree of its role is: shared values and reciprocity. The research conclusions have positive theoretical and practical significance for the company and farmers to improve the quality of primary agricultural products.(3)Supply chain integration shows some negative adjustments in the relationship between social capital and quality performance.Regardless of the company perspective or the perspective of farmers, supply chain integration significantly negatively regulates the relationship between reciprocity and quality performance. The theoretical contribution of this study is mainly reflected in:(1)The relationship between the dimensions of social capital and their impact on quality performance is analyzed, which helps to have a better understanding of how each dimension has a unique impact on performance. It enriches the Social capital theory.(2)The integration of supply chain as a regulatory variable has enriched past research. Most of the previous studies examined the effect of social capital on performance and seldom focus on other possible mediations or regulatory effects. The supply chain integration as a moderating variable to examine its regulatory role in social capital and quality performance is conducive to a better exploration of the deep relationship between social capital and performance.(3)This study combines the ?company + farmer households? model, using both the company and the farmers to analyze,to a certain extent,to make up for the lack of empirical research based on Chinese agro-enterprises,and to enrich the supply chain theory. This study also provides some managerial revelations for corporate managers and farmers:(1)Research on the relationship between the three dimensions of social capital enables enterprises and farmers to clearly define the direction of social capital investment.(2)The effect of social capital on quality performance can help companies and farmers to invest in certain resources to establish social capital with each other, thus improving the final quality performance. The negative adjustment of supply chain integration also warns managers to monitor the relationship between them when they establish a certain degree of cooperation,so as to avoid counter-effects.
