Research On The Policy Function Effect Of China's Export Credit Insurance

Export credit insurance is a policy-oriented insurance business,which is widely applied in all the countries in the world.The practice has showed that the functional effect of export credit insurance was larger during the financial crisis.This paper analyzes the policy function effect of export credit insurance on promoting the development of foreign trade and economic cooperation,serving the real economy,supporting the Belt and Road Initiative and protecting foreign or export accounts receivable.This research tests with VAR model estimation,impulse response functions and variance decomposition whether export credit insurance and export tax rebates stimulate trade and consistently find a positive and statistically significant effect.This paper makes research on the export credit insurance's concept,characteristics and policy functions in order to provide empirical evidence for policy making of export credit insurance,let more people know the major role of export credit insurance in facilitating international trade and promote the improvement of China's export credit insurance.
