Research On The Competitiveness Evaluation Of Regional Logistics In Fujian And Taiwan

As the source of "the third profit of the enterprise",the logistics industry is an important indicator to measure the comprehensive strength of a regional economy.Regional logistics provides a strong driving force for the development of the regional economy.With the support of state-level policies such as the "Strait West Bank Economic Zone","Fujian Province Free Trade Zone",and "One Belt and One Road Sea Core Area",the status of Fujian Province as a regional hub for "external guidance within the border" has become increasingly prominent and calling for high quality logistics Industry to match it.However,the logistics economy in Fujian Province is generally weak,and there is a considerable distance compared with the development level of modern logistics industry in Taiwan.Under this situation,it is so important and urgent to clear the relative level of regional logistics competitiveness in Fujian Province and provide reasonable policy recommendations for Fujian Province through the comparative study between Fujian and Taiwan.Based on the discussion of related literature,theory and influencing factors of regional logistics and its competitiveness,this article combines the development status of the regional logistics in Fujian and Taiwan and refers to the "Porter Diamond Model”to construct a regional logistics competitiveness evaluation index system.Based on the relevant statistical data of 2008,2012 and 2016,this paper measures the level of regional logistics competitiveness in Fujian and Taiwan using factor analysis,and then carries out horizontal and vertical comparisons.The research results show that the logistics enterprise level is the shortcoming of regional logistics competitiveness in Fujian Province,and it is imperative to create a modern logistics enterprise with core competitiveness.At the same time,it is necessary to formulate a corresponding strategy from the perspective of regional economic relevance(where "regional logistics" is essential).In order to make up for shortcomings and make full use of their potential advantages,they will work together to make progress.It is suggested that efforts be made to coordinate economic development in the region,to strengthen infrastructure construction,to speed up economic development in the hinterland,to imply science,technology and human resources strategy,to improve logistics information construction,and to make good use of policy support.
