The Regional Logistics Competitiveness Evaluation And Development Strategies In Central Region

As an advanced organization, logistics enterprise provides efficient indemnification for the modern economy, the same as an important part of the tertiary industry, the logistics industry provides a powerful impetus for the rapid development of the economy. From the perspective of regional development, the logistics of each region has its own characteristics, its development has imbalance and difference from the others. This imbalance and the difference can be reflected mainly by the competitiveness level of regional logistics. To compare the difference of regional logistics competitiveness, a scientific evaluation theory and its methods is needed. With the help of the theories and methods of regional competitiveness, and combined with the characteristics of regional logistics itself, we study on the regional logistics competitiveness, trying to build an evaluation model and its index system of regional logistics competitiveness. We compare and analyze the logistics competitiveness by taking Jiangxi province as an object of study, strive to find out the relative strengths and gaps of Jiangxi logistics, put forward countermeasures and suggestions as to enhance Jiangxi regional logistics competitiveness.When the concepts of regional logistics and regional logistics competitiveness are defined, the current situation of regional logistics competitiveness in the six central provinces are analyzed by comparing the cargo, the average annual cargo traffic, the average annual increase, as well as logistics subjects’main level. And further, this paper elaborates why the level of economic development, regional location and natural resources, logistics and infrastructure conditions, industry structure, regional market conditions, the competitiveness of logistics enterprises, the quality of human resources, the level of information technology, regional policy environment are the six main factors which can affect the regional logistics competitiveness.Then, by analyzing Porter’s Diamond model, combined with its own characteristics of regional logistics, this paper establishes the evaluation model of regional logistics competitiveness. This model holds that the following six aspects is the key factors which determine the competitiveness of regional logistics:the level of logistics enterprises, logistics elements of the situation, the logistics demand conditions, the level of information, the level of regional economic and regional government role. These six factors influence and interact each other, constitute a systematic and comprehensive evaluation model of regional logistics competitiveness, this model can be used as the paradigm of the economic analysis of the regional logistics competitiveness.Afterwards, this paper builds a regional logistics competitiveness evaluation index system based on the evaluation model of regional logistics competitiveness, this index system includes six classification indicators and nineteen operating indicators. And then the regional logistics competitiveness of China’s31regions is sorted and classified by using factor analysis method, the level of regional logistics competitiveness of the six central provinces (Shanxi, Anhui, Jiangxi, Henan, Hubei, Hunan) is compared and analyzed.Finally, this paper particularly analyzes the development level and current status of the logistics industry in Jiangxi province, furthermore, countermeasures on how to enhance Jiangxi regional logistics competitiveness are put forward from five aspects.
