Research On The Process Improvement Of Cold Chain Distribution For F Company

With the improvement of living standard and the shift of consumption concept,cold chain food market has been recently developing rapidly.More and more food producers in cold chain food market have been outsourcing their distributions with a third-party cold chain logistics in order to response to the market changes.F company is a synthesized third-party cold chain logistics supplier.With the continuous expansion of the company's business scale,the current capacity of cold chain distribution business processing has been unable to meet the company's development needs.Therefore,it is very urgent for F company to find out a new approach to implement an effective cold chain distribution process and then to improve its operation efficiency.Through field research,this thesis analyzed the cold chain distribution process of F Company from four aspects-order review,outbound operations,transportation operations and acceptance of goods,so as to find out cold chain distributions problems and propose process improvement goals.On this basis,the Petri net modeling method was used to model the cold chain distribution process,and the model structure was verified to ensure its validity.After that,association matrix reassembly algorithm was introduced to analyze the relationships between internal activities and to find out what is the key link to affect the distribution efficiency,and then propose a improvement solution based on the incidence matrix reorganization rules.Finally,at the stage of verifying the effect of the improvement solution,stochastic Petri net system performance analysis method was utilized to validate effectiveness of the proposed solution.The study shows that the average execution cycle of the cold chain distribution process of F company has decreased by 21.64%.after applying business process improvement.The time efficiency of improved cold chain distribution process has got a big enhancement,which can effectively improve the capacity of F company's cold chain distribution business.This thesis also offers a complete proposal for F company to improvement its distribution process which not only solves F company's existent problems but also offers a direction to its sustainable process improvement.
