The birth of the mobile Internet has spawned the rapid development of new media,so that the way of information dissemination has undergone major changes.Nowadays,more people are becoming new media manufacturers as the media display forms are increasing day by day,the formation requirements on media content are reduced.With social attributes,content dissemination transforms from one-way dissemination into relation dissemination with user as a dissemination node.The traditional transmission platforms begin to shoulder the media responsibilities and evolve into a key approach to publish contents.In addition,due to the ever-changing science and technology,a variety of intelligent devices enter the market continually,all of them are capable to work as the mobile terminal of new media.The improved technology provides people with a brand-new marketing pattern,as a result,the Internet-based new media has become an indispensable new marketing tool at present,especially after the rural tourism has experienced different stages of development.Thus it's a development opportunity to promote the development of rural tourism by the new media."Internet + rural tourism" new model for rural tourism provides a new marketing tool,opened up a broad road of development.It is an inexorable trend to take the advantages of new media to spread the information related to leisure agriculture and rural tourism in a faster and updated way,constantly updated and optimized rural tourism marketing has become a new trend But their combination is still imperfect as it is in the initial stages of development.Under the general background of the information era,how to optimize the marketing model of rural tourism via new media technology and how to survive for rural tourism need further exploration and research.Based on the characteristics of rural tourism,the present paper focuses on new media marketing and introduces the current marketing situation of rural tourism as well as its deficiency.Besides,it discusses the success of new media marketing model in various industries,including rural tourism industry.Innovative exploration on promoting rural tourism marketing by new media is conducted on the basis of successful experience.It also studied the marketing strategies of rural tourism under the background of new media.The application of new media to rural tourism marketing is expected to bring new development opportunities for rural tourism in the paper.Finally,according to the development tendency of rural tourism,the specific marketing ideas and strategies about the new media are proposed in this paper correspondingly.
