Taking excessively lengthy or frequent breaks,not exerting as much effort in tasks as possible,sending and receiving personal e-mails,surfing the Internet,lengthy water cooler conversations and 'schmoozing' the boss,all of these bahaviors suggest that employees do have unnecessary working time banditry behavior.In order to reduce employees' time banditry behavior,many enterprises have adopted the means of Intranet setup and computer monitoring software installation.There are also some companies asking employees to take pictures of visiting clients as a proof.But these control means in the course increase the opposition between employers and employees,compared with those control means in the course,identifing the motivation and according to the motive to guidance in advance can effectively restrain time banditry behavior.But researches about organizational factors of time behavior are very limited,as a negative workplace interpersonal events,workplace ostracism has a negative impact on employees' affection,thus can increase time banditry behavior.And the personality traits of over-alertness to interpersonal interaction can affect the effect of workplace ostracism on affective reactions.Base on the theory of affective events and self-control limited resource,this article tries to explore the influence of workplace ostracism on time banditry behavior and its role.Besides,harmonious work passion will be measured as the mediating variable between workplace ostracism and time banditry behavior.Interpersonal sensitivity could be seen as a moderating variable between workplace ostracism and harmonious work passion in this study.As a result,365 samples have been collected and we use SPSS 19.0 and Amos23.0 to make analysis of scales and test hypothesizes.In addition,it should be noted that five conclusions are summarized as followed:(1)Workplace ostracism has a significant positive influence on time banditry behavior and its three dimensions.(2)Workplace ostracism has a significant negative effect on harmonious work passion.(3)Harmonious work passion has a significant negative effect on time banditry behavior and all the three sub-dimensions of time banditry behavior.(4)Harmonious work passion partially mediates the relationship between workplace ostracism and time banditry behavior.(5)Interpersonally sensitivity plays a significant moderation role between workplace ostracism and harmonious work passion.At first,this study enrich the research about organizational situation factor of time banditry behavior,verify the conjecture that interpersonal relationship may affect time banditry behavior.Using harmonious work passion as a mediating variable,this study expand the mediating mechanism that workplace ostracism impact employee behavior negatively,help managers understand employees' motivation of time behavior and reduce the opposite consciousness.Taking interpersonal sensitivity that associated with human interaction into account can examine the influence of workplace ostracism on affective reactions more accurately,thus can help companies increase focus on highly interpersonal sensitive employees,direct their affection and reduce the incentive of employees to do time banditry behavior.
