With the improvement of the marketing economy,the global financial industry shows the characteristics of multiple financial market media,product diversification,and interest rate liberalization.Due to the customer demands and the changes in market rules,the banks has begun to carry out a number of reforms.Under this background,some of domestic advanced banks took foreign successful experience as reference,began to carry out process bank reengineering,they focus on customer needs to reengineer the business process.Finally,these banks gained strong competitive ability,and set up a good example for small local city commercial banks who are exploring the future development directions.First of all,this paper tells the background and significance of the research and introduces the relevant theoretical knowledge.Through comparison,we've got the difference between process bank and the traditional bank,highlighting the advanced nature and superiority of it.Secondly,the paper also summarizes the practice and experience of process bank both home and abroad.And it made a conclusion that our process bank construction is still at the primary stage compared with the foreign process bank mainly due to the following three reasons--the original interest distribution pattern is difficult to break,the cost of short-term process bank is high,the starting point is relatively low,and etc.Again,this paper takes Liangshan Commercial Bank as an example,using the SWOT analysis method to analyze the status of its operation,and concluded that how to choose reform strategic choice has become the key to the survival and development of the bank.Then,based on the feasibility analysis of the renovation of process bank,it has concluded the process bank renovation remains the only way for the bank reform.Combined with the management status of the bank and the failure experience of centralized management of the bank,it also proposed an overall optimized strategy to develop step by step,and promote pilot project.Finally,combined with the actual state of Liangshan Commercial Bank,and the local situation,it proposed that the process bank renovation of the bank should conduct with the principle that efficiency comes first,along with integration and systematization etc,.And starting from McKinsey 7S model that includes the 7elements –strategy,structure,system,style,staff,skill,shared values,combining overall optimized strategy of Liangshan Commercial Bank to develop step by step,and promote pilot project,it finally comes up with the process bank renovation strategy of the bank that mainly includes the following three steps: the preparatory stage,the pilot stage,the promotion stage.
