| Jiangsu Province is located in the middle of the eastern coast of China,adjacent to Shanghai,the core city of the "Yangtze River Delta".In Jiangsu Province,Suzhou,Wuxi,Changzhou are located in the central region of Yangtze River Delta economic zone and are the more economically developed cities in China.The region is featured by high economic growth rate,uneven regional development level,dense population and sharp contradiction between the people and land.China’s accession to WTO in 2001,has brought new opportunities and challenges to this region,which further boosted economic development here.In this period,what changes will happen to the existing sharp unbalance between people and land has become a topic of concern.Based MATLAB and Arc GIS,with data of land use changes and economic development in Jiangsu Province during 1997-2006 as the information source,using K-means classifying method,this article classified information in time and space,and then found there were several stages in time and some difference as to areas.1)As to area difference,agricultural land decreased from north to south,opposite to economic development level,and the speed of decreasing gradually increases from north to south,consistent with the economic development speed.Currently,the situation in Jiangsu province is agricultural land is small and decreasing sharply in southern area where the economic development speed is high while it is large and decreasing slowly in northern area where the economic development speed is slow;construction land is featured by the opposite amount and changing speed;Uncultured land has a longitude difference,more in eastern area,less in western area,and variation does not have a clear special feature.2)As to different stages in time,there are three breaks of agricultural land changing in the year of 2002,2004 and 2006.From 2002,agricultural land decreased sharply.The general trend is becoming less and less.The main breaking point of construction land changing is in 2002 and 2004.From 2004 to 2006,it has the greatest increase.2002-2003 is the fastest stage of increase.The general trend is increase.The changing of uncultured land fluctuated greatly during 2000-2003 and the overall trend is reducing. |
