With the development of technology,phased array has been widely used in various fields such as communication,radar,navigation and so on.It has become the mainstream of modern antenna development with remarkable technical characteristics.The miniaturization,lightweight,and integrated low-cost phased array is the necessary trend for the development of phased arrays and the only way for large-scale commercial use.Since the introduction of the microstrip antenna,it has rapidly emerged due to its advantages of low profile,small size,low cost,and easy conformality.Therefore,it is of great significance to combine the two and study the application of microstrip antenna in phased array.The main research contents of this paper are as follows:1.Research on one-dimensional phase scanning microstrip array antenna: Combined with ground surveillance radar applications,the design method of microstrip array antenna is studied.Two compact one-dimensional phase scanning microstrip array antennas with flexible beam coverage were designed at C band and X band,respectively.2.Design of doppler array antenna: Based on the doppler effect,a microstrip antenna array with "X" beam configuration is designed,which meets the requirements of airborne navigation equipment to obtain the relative ground motion parameters of the radar carrier.The antenna realizes the specific pointing of the beam in three-dimensional space,achieves the effect of time-division aperture multiplexing by switching between two beams,and obtains the performance of narrow beam and low sidelobe.3.Research on silicon-based integrated phased array antenna: Aiming at the problems of dielectric loss and surface wave loss caused by high dielectric constant of silicon-based substrate,an antenna loaded with air cavity and substrate integrated back cavity is designed.Combined with the array,the effectiveness of the antenna in suppressing surface wave and the characteristics of two-dimensional wide-angle scanning have been verified.
