For the advantages of detection range, high precision of multi-target tracking, anti-interference, stealth performance and esay to conformal, the active phased radar has got more and more attentions in the whole world. In recent years, the developed countries have developed their own active phased radar system successively. In view of the great importance of active phased radar, in this dissertation, author deeply researched some of problems in this field.First of all, author studied at the problem of quantitative phase error of digital phase shifter used in active phased radar array. The mathematical model of quantitative phase error has been introduced in this paper, the traditional randomizing phase feeding methods has been simulated and the the simulation results using two-probable value method has been given here. The simulation results show that the randomizing phase feeding method still has a great opportunity to get poor results, because of the randomness, although it always can feedback the quantitative phase. So the particle swarm used in optimization of random phase feeding has been introduced in this paper, which used only once can lead to a satisfactory result. And the need of practical applications could be satisfied and the chance of poor results appearing could be avoided. At last, the superiority of the algorithm has been proved by the simulation about the typical plane array and the linear array.Secondly, in view of the esay-to-conformal feature of active phased array, author designed a corn conformal microstrip antenna array. Firstly, a point-fed and an edge-fed microstrip antenna used in X band have been designed. And because of the advantages of it, the point-fed antenna has been chosen as corn conformal microstrip antenna element. We found that the carrier curvature has some relationship with the resonant frequency. So adjusting the size and feed point of each antenna can easily achieve the purpose of adjustment every antenna's operation frequency in the entire array. Finally, we designed a corn conformal leaner array with 16 elements and a corn conformal curved surface antenna array with 4×4 elements used this point-fed antenna element. And synthesized the array pattern used non-dominated genetic algorithm and showed the simulation results which demonstrated that the non-dominated genetic algorithm could take account the entire conformal array including the carrier, and achieve the desired results.At last, a microstrip patch antenna with U-shaped slot in X band has been designed, which has nearly 27% frequency band. By adjusting the slot width and length, the frequency band of the antenna can be widened. And this type of antenna has been used in cylinder conformal antenna array. The simulation results shows, in this case, this type of antenna has good performance of impedance and radiation aspects.
