With the continuous development of ultraviolet(UV)technology,the working wavelength of UV detectors is more controllable and optional,and the sensitivity has been greatly improved.With its unique advantages,it has been widely used in military and civilian products.Therefore,it is of great significance to the research on the performance of UV detectors.In this paper,the theoretical evaluation of the performance of the UV intensified charge-coupled device(UV-ICCD)and the experimental research on its related test technology is carried out.An UV-ICCD performance test system is designed and an objective analysis is made on the signal-to-noise ratio(SNR)and dynamic range and resolution.Firstly,this paper gives an overview of the development of UV-ICCD,highlights the composition and working principle of UV-ICCD,analyzes the factors affecting camera performance parameters,establishes the suitable resolution model and signal-to-noise ratio algorithm model and dynamic range algorithm model,and theoretically evaluates camera performance test method and standard.Then based on this theory,the UV-ICCD performance test system was developed,and the UV uniformity of the light source can be guaranteed to reach the camera test range at 254 nm.Half-moon target which can realize SNR test at the same gain and USAF1951 resolution test target are selected,and the selection and design of the black box and multi-video format acquisition processing system.Secondly,according to the theoretical model of the performance parameter,and based on LabVIEW software platform,the synchronous display of the video and the high-accuracy acquisition of the data are programmed.At the same time,the algorithm is calculated according to the algorithm of each performance parameter and the result is stored in the database.Finally,the experimental research on the signal-to-noise ratio,dynamic range and resolution is performed separately,and the experiment results were combined with theoretical analysis to evaluate the performance of UV-ICCD.
