In recent years,the focus of Museum exhibition has changed from "object-oriented" to "information-oriented".Under such dissemination purposes,information transmission and audience understanding are the main objectives of the exhibition.The premise to achieve this goal is to do a good job in the interpretation of the exhibition,and to display the information contained behind the physical exhibits in a way that is easy to convey and understand.Scene representation,as an effective way of information interpretation in exhibitions,is more and more used in various museums and exhibitions.Scene representation can restore historical scenes by means of various auxiliary materials and media technology,so that the narrative context of the exhibition is complete and rich.Scene representation can also increase the sense of scene and reality of the exhibition,and make the audience feel immersed in the scene.It is also a popular way of exhibition in Museum exhibitions.Based on the cases of scene representation in major domestic museums,this paper classifies and analyzes scene representation,defines relevant concepts of scene representation,and summarizes various forms and characteristics of scene representation in museum exhibitions.From the perspective of information dissemination and audience cognition,this paper focuses on scene representation as an effective way of information dissemination in museums.From the aspect of display design,the application method and principle of scene representation are analyzed in detail.At last,the authenticity of scene representation is expounded.It is hoped that this paper can provide some inspiration and help for the application of scene representation in museums.
