In the age of mobile internet,almost everyone is enjoying the benefits of internet,but farmers,as a group,are limited to the use of the Internet because of the limitations of cultural level,ideology,geographical location,etc.and the use of the Internet is limited to communication tools such as Wechat.The public opinion field on the Internet can hardly find their traces.However,with the advent of mobile short video APP,this phenomenon has changed.Farmers use these apps quickly,creating a media,carnival",in the process of using,they as users have an impact on the media,and the media has also made a new round of presentation and shaping of them,promoting the recognition and shaping of farmers'self-role.This paper takes farmers in L tun,a village in Heilongjiang Province,as the research object,carries out field investigation,conducts in-depth interviews with villagers,supplemented by questionnaires.At the same time,it pays close attention to the content of their short video APP,observes their daily life and interest points online and offline,inspects their use of mobile short video APP,and how to respond to the new impact on the media,farmers themselves and rural life,under the role of the media,what has changed and what is remain unchanged.The survey found that short video APP had an important impact on farmers'lives.APP's small screen realizes the release of their personality,strengthens their connection with society,accelerates the individualization and so on.However,the local culture is deeply rooted,farmers still use short video APP as a tool,online space is limited,rural public space has not declined,and the core of local culture has not changed.The daily application practice of farmers'new media does not originate from capital discipline and "Internet celebrities".In the tide of modernization,they have"obedience" and"response",relying on solid land and natural strength,they construct their own roles with difficulty and activeness.
