With the increasing demand of school education and the increasing content of exams,the workload of teachers will be more and more,and as one of the focus of teachers’work,publishing and marking papers,is a very tedious and headache for teachers.In order to free teachers from the tedious work of marking papers,the traditional examination methods need to inject new technology to promote change.Entering the 21st century,with the rapid development of computer technology and popularization,the fro m all walks of life to use a computer technology,all walks of life are using computer technology for revolution.As a product of network and database technology,online examination system is an effective way to replace the traditional "paper-and-pencil examination" and is widely used in various vocational and technical examinations both at home and abroad.Online examination system can sum up and synthesize the traditional examination forms and processes,improve the efficiency of teachers,get rid of the tedious work of marking out papers.In addition,intelligent test paper can greatly improve the success rate of automatic test paper formation system,make the test more fair and effective,while achieving paperless office and off-site examination.In order to keep up with the development trend of computer technology and network technology and relieve the pressure of teachers’work,Xianmin Middle School in Rudong County of Jiangsu Province urgently needs online examination system to replace the traditional in-school test.This design is based on B/S(browser/server)architecture model,completed the development of an online examination system for Xianmin Middle School.The software system of this structure is simple and convenient to upgrade and maintain later,and its maintenance cost is low.The system uses SQL Server 2005 database to store data;at the same time,it uses ASP.NET dynamic web page development technology to design the interface of the system;finally,configure the Internet information server environment,In this way,the system can be implemented through the browser.Examination system can realize the functions of automatic test paper extraction,online test,automatic marking,etc.It can effectively improve the teaching efficiency and improve the teaching examination work to a new level.
