During the operation of a wireless sensor network,it is often necessary to reconfigure the parameters of the sensor nodes due to changes of required.Because the network is usually very large,it is difficult to update the configuration parameters manually.The most efficient way is to use the small data item dissemination protocol to update.The existing research on small data dissemination focuses on achieving high reliability by using a method with a high degree of complexity,but ignores the fact that computingl power of nodes and memory are limited.Also,due to the scale of wireless sensor networks will change at any time,existing researches are less concerned about the adaptability of the dissemination methods to different scales,so that the dissemination performance in large-scale networks is significantly reduced.In view of the existing problems,the paper first analyzes the reasons why the standard small data dissemination protocol,Drip,is prone to network congestion in the actual use process,and adopts network coding technology to improve the Drip protocol's sending and receiving functions.The improved protocol passes a series of simulations with the existing classical protocols Drip,DIP and DHV.The simulation results show that the network coding technology can effectively improve the real-time and reliability of Drip dissemination;Secondly,the Drip and "NC+Drip" are analyzed.Drip has a long dissemination time for large-scale network dissemination.Therefore,based on the addition of the network coding function,it further adopts measures to adjust the random coding rate and the dissemination suppression rate of nodes based on the node's depth value.The probability that the edge node s receive the last data item reduces the network's dissemination time.Compared with the standard Drip protocol and the Drip protocol with network coding,it shows that "NC+Depth+Drip" is improved in the large-scale network.Finally,the dissemination protocol should be considered.It must has good extensibility to adapt to different scale networks.Based on Drip,the network coding and node depth algorithms are integrated together and adaptively dissemination according to the size of the network determined by the algorithm.Comparing with Drip protocol,it shows that the adaptive dissemination protocol has good adaptability in different scale networks.
