Mixings can be significant in music production.Producers use artificial reverb to simulate the acoustic,or using impulse responses to restore the real acoustic. In order to measure the impulse responses, the most frequently used method is sine-sweep method developed by Angelo Farina. This method uses exponential sine sweep as a test signal.Normally, the frequency range for the test signal is from about 20 Hz to about 20 kHz,which include the hearing range of human beings, and the regular range for productions. This dissertation will study the applications of using different impulse responses fed with different frequency ranges in mixings.
