With the improvement of people's living standards and the continuous pursuit of a perfect appearance,more and more people pay more attention to shaping and beauty.The aesthetic appearance of the tooth directly affects the personal grooming and quality of life,so more and more people begin to get involved in orthodontic treatment.Braceless stealth correction technology not only inherits the traditional orthodontics orthodontics concept,but also the modern stomatology,computer-aided three-dimensional diagnosis,personalized design and digital molding technology the perfect combination of results.The Bracketless Invisible Correction System is a system that helps dentists design a set of treatments for "invisible" braces and output simulated corrective data.The system consists of five modules:module one is the three-dimensional reconstruction of the tooth grid model;module two is the tooth and gum segmentation;module three is to draw the ideal arch line;module four is the tooth movement path planning and collision detection;module five is the formation of invisible braces.This article focuses on the segmentation of the teeth and gums and the drawing of the ideal dental arch.The paper proposed a tooth segmentation algorithm based on mesh extraction to overcome the shortage of long segmentation and under-segmentation of the interactive mark control algorithm.The paper extracted and smoothed the three-dimensional mesh.obtained from three-dimensional dental model.After that,the individual tooth could be separated by using the improved interactive marker control algorithm.Experimental results show that the paper's algorithm has better accuracy and segmentation speed.Besides,the under-segmentation can be avoided in the paper's algorithm.The single tooth model acquired by the paper's algorithm will have positive influence to the subsequent operation of orthodontics.Aiming at the inaccuracy of previous algorithms for drawing dental arch lines and the shortage of considering only a single tooth,this paper presents a new method of rendering dental arch lines,which is based on the arch of the dental arch of both jaws.Firstly,the 3D tooth model is divided by using the tooth segmentation algorithm proposed in this paper.Then,the segmented tooth model is mapped into two-dimensional image and expanded and thinned to obtain the initial dental arch line.The initial dental arch line of the upper and lower teeth is then merged.Finally,the initial arch line of the upper and lower teeth is fitted,and the fitted curve is adjusted based on the occlusal points of the upper and lower teeth to finally generate the ideal arch line.The experimental results show that the accuracy of the dental arch drawn by the algorithm proposed in this paper is high,which lays the foundation for the subsequent tooth movement.
