The development of information technology in today’s society has brought many new features to geography teaching.Knowledge visualization,as a way of representation,injects new elements into geography teaching.The subject of geography is a comprehensive subject with high requirements for geography teaching.Knowledge visualization can help teachers improve the efficiency of geography teaching and help students enhance their ability to learn geography.This article uses a questionnaire survey to investigate the status quo of the application of knowledge visualization in high school geography teaching,so as to study the application status and problems of knowledge visualization in high school geography teaching,and propose relevant strategies to help teachers better apply in high school geography teaching.Knowledge visualization.Based on the above research goals,the research of this thesis is mainly divided into three parts:First,300 students and 52 high school geography teachers from Nanjing No.9 Middle School,Nanjing Zhonghua Middle School in Jiangsu Province,and Liaocheng No.1 Middle School in Shandong Province were selected as the research objects.Data analysis of the application status and existing problems of knowledge visualization in high school geography teaching.The second is to put forward the application strategies of knowledge visualization in high school geography teaching through the analysis of the application status,mainly including:(1)to ensure the application of knowledge visualization in teaching preparation;(2)in The application of knowledge visualization in the high school geography teaching process mainly discusses how to apply knowledge visualization in the preparation of lessons,introduction of new courses,exploration of new knowledge and review summary;(3)the specific application of knowledge visualization in the teaching of high school geographical knowledge classification,using Bloom Educational target taxonomy classifies geographic knowledge and selects a suitable knowledge visualization method for different types of knowledge.The third is to design the application process of knowledge visualization in high school geography teaching according to the application strategy,and to implement specific practices according to the application process.In the classroom teaching of "Earth Circle Structure",a variety of knowledge visualization methods are used for teaching reflection and summary.
