| Curriculum should have distinctive characteristics of the times.It should not only comply with the requirements of human resources for the development of the times,but also show the progress of science and technology.The "Outline of Basic Education Curriculum Reform(Trial)" requires: Curriculum reform should“vigorously promote the universal application of information technology in the teaching process and promote the integration of information technology and subject curriculum." Nowadays,science and technology are developing rapidly.Teachers should try to apply information technology to teaching and make it serve the classroom to optimize the teaching process and develop students’ information literacy.DIS is the product of the development of modern science and technology.Applying it to the classroom can reflect the integration of information technology and teaching,so that students can understand and learn to use modern technology equipment at the high school stage.This can provide strong technical support for students to carry out scientific inquiry activities.After consulting a large amount of literature,the author found that domestic digital biological experiment research has a smaller number of studies and a smaller research scope than chemistry and physics.It mainly focuses on the improvement of traditional experiments,and lacks research to promote the effective integration of DIS with biological experiments and biological teaching.Therefore,this article seeks to explore the way to take advantage of DIS and effectively integrate DIS with biology teaching.The results can be showed as follow:First of all,based on literature research and text research,the author finds that some traditional experiments are only qualitative research,which lack of quantification analysis.Some traditional experiments may have intrinsic shortages,like material may have potential safety hazard,the operation may be tedious...etc.While as a product of information technology,DIS can achieve the transform from qualitative research to quantitative research,which can help students develop the concept of quantity,and can simplify the experimental operation and optimize experimental materials.This can effectively make up for the shortcomings of traditional experiments.Through further analysis of the high school compulsory part of the experiment,we have sorted out five experiments in the textbook that are suitable for optimizing by DIS.They are: exploring the permeability of the membraneby simulation experiments;comparing the decomposition of hydrogen peroxide under different conditions;exploring the conditions affecting enzyme activity;exploring the way in which yeast cells breathe;the influence of environmental factors on the photosynthesis intensity.Then,on the basis of literature research,the author summarizes three principles that should be followed for the effective application of DIS in biology teaching: the principle of implementing DIS based on the core literacy of biology;the principle of using DIS as a cognitive tool for students;the principle of optimization.And three strategies to be followed: focusing on prediction before the experiment;creating a relaxed and pleasant classroom atmosphere;focusing on the display,communication and evaluation of the experiment results.Moreover,the author selects 6 experiments from the above 10 experiments,including 3 experiments optimized by DIS: exploring the permeability of the membrane by simulation experiments;comparing the decomposition of hydrogen peroxide under different conditions;exploring the way in which yeast cells breathe,and three extended experiments: comparing the energy of glucose and fat;exploring the relationship between concentration and diffusion;exploring the relationship between cell size and material transport.Based on the status of the experiments in textbook,the traditional experimental methods,as well as above principles and strategies,the author re-designs above six experiments,hoping to provide a certain reference value for the first-line teachers in biological digital experiments in the future.Then,based on the research theory and above principles and strategies,the author carries out practical research.She takes 13 students from a high school community in Nanjing as research object to carry out the method of exploring the way in which yeast cells breathe with the aid of DIS.In order to further study the impact of bio-digital experiments on students,based on their own classroom records,reflections of whole class,as well as students’ and teachers’ interviews,the author summarizes her research results.The results show that: Bio-digital experiments can stimulate students’ interest,promote expression,communication and cooperation among students,help students develop rational thinking and concepts.Finally,based on literature research and reflection of practice,the author summarizes the advantages and disadvantages of digital experiments,and demonstrates the advantages by examples.The advantages of digital experiments are:continuous real-time data can be collected;microscopic phenomena can be visible;qualitative experiments can be transformed to quantitative experiments;the openness of the experimental environment is better;and the length of time for students to conduct inquiry experiments can be increased,while its shortcomings include three aspects: the price of DIS equipment is relatively high;the sensor is technically insufficient;and the maintenance and preservation cost of the sensor is high. |
