Children's gender is the result of social construction in which teacher's language plays an important role in children's gender development.Studying how teachers' language constructs the gender of primary school children is of great significance to the theory of gender construction and the practice of gender education for children.Based on the participative observation of L class in X primary school,this study selected 7 teachers and 36 children in the class as the research objects to explore the gender construction of teachers' language on children.The study found that,influenced by family and other factors,children have formed gender concepts and behaviors to a certain extent before entering school,which laid a foundation for the development of children's gender and provided factual support for the research on the construction of language gender of teachers.When children enter school,gender development is mainly affected by from teachers,in the interaction between teachers and students,teachers' language has completed to build: sexual other boy in the elementary school low section presents the image of the "little man",the "bad boy" image,in the elementary school low section girl present a "lady" image,the image of "small cotton-padded jacket,behind these images,the teacher invented many concepts to support and strengthen their about boys and girls as" little man "" bad boy" "lady" "eye" of the concept of image.On the basis of these concepts of boys and girls,these children with special needs have acquired the identity of boys or girls.In addition,gender bidirectional tendency has emerged among children in the early years of primary school,which is closely related to the evaluation criteria of teachers' "good children".The study also found that: the space arrangement to further expand the language teachers in children's gender role,mainly displays in the school space position distribution of the gender and the gender penetration of space environment,such as "discrimination" team,"men's and women's movement is tie-in" seat,"male left female right" in the public service ads,publicity pictures of "ladies first",etc.Therefore,in order to better promote the socialization of children's gender,it is necessary to effectively play the role of society in guiding gender culture,create a campus environment suitable for children's gender development,and encourage teachers to strengthen their awareness and reflection on language use.In the concluding part,the author points out the possible innovation points of this research and expounds the shortcomings in the research process.
