Learning quality is a general term that covers a range of learning attitudes,habits and styles that form the basis of future learning and adaptation to school.STEAM education,as future-oriented education,has attracted increasing attention.At present,most of the practical researches on STEAM education focus on the primary and secondary schools,while the research results of STEAM education practice in early childhood are less.In addition,the early childhood stage is the key period for learning quality cultivation,children in the big class have been developed in physical and psychological aspects,which is not only the most effective period for cultivating learning quality,but also provides certain possibilities for the smooth development of STEAM courses.Therefore,this study studies the influence of children’s learning quality by carrying out STEAM activities in kindergarten,and puts forward feasible Suggestions for teachers to carry out STEAM activities in kindergarten.In this study,a total of 60 children in the experimental group and the control group were randomly selected from Shanghai X kindergarten by the method of action research.During the study,the experimental group was given 12 STEAM teaching activities,while the control group was given regular kindergarten science activities.After the end of the activity,through quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis,the author explored the development of five dimensions of children’s desire,namely,the ability to focus,the ability to persist,the ability to resist setbacks,and the sense of goal.The conclusions of this study are as follows: implementing STEAM activities in kindergartens can effectively promote the development of children’s learning quality.Specifically,STEAM activities can effectively promote the development of the five dimensions of concentration,persistence,resistance to setbacks,goal awareness and desire exploration.Based on the conclusion,this paper puts forward the following suggestions: first,create problem situation,stimulate children’s desire to explore.Second,respect individual differences and deal with frustration situations correctly.Third,put the record tool,improve the children’s goal awareness.
