Unit teaching is based on unit theme,focusing on unit objectives,following the general rules of students’ learning,designing relevant teaching content,homework content,evaluation content and teaching resources,etc.,maintaining the consistency among these elements to carry out teaching mode with continuous class hours and proceeding in an orderly way.Under the background of the new curriculum reform,at present,the teaching of Chinese unit in primary school,as a hot topic,has received more and more attention and studies among teachers.However,these studies mainly focus on the definition of unit teaching and the reasons taken,or design methods on concentration theory and ideal practical strategies.As for the attitude and views of Chinese teachers in primary school towards unit teaching,there are few relevant studies.In this study,the methods of literature research,interview and questionnaire are used to conduct a sample survey and interview with Chinese teachers in primary schools in District C of Shanghai.The purpose of the study is to understand the attitude of Chinese teachers in primary school towards unit teaching and to make an analysis of various factors that affect their attitude.In addition,some optimization suggestions are put forward to improve the enthusiasm of Chinese teachers in primary school to participate in unit teaching.It is found based on the study that the overall attitude of Chinese teachers in primary school towards unit teaching is relatively positive in which the cognitive attitude is the most positive,followed by behavioral attitude,and the lowest is emotional attitude.It can be seen that different teachers have different attitude towards unit teaching.Factors such as the teacher’s age,teaching age,education background,which grade the teacher is teaching,whether he has participated in unit teaching training,and the level of the school where the teacher is located have a significant effect on the attitude of teachers to unit teaching,and factors such as the teacher’s gender and professional title have less influence.In addition,the following problems were found after careful collation and analysis of the survey and interview results: the attitude of elementary Chinese teachers towards unit teaching varies greatly;the attitude of elementary Chinese teachers from different levels of schools towards unit teaching varies greatly;first-line Chinese teachers generally think that unit teaching is a matter of leadership and experts;emotional attitude of Chinese teachers in primary school towards unit teaching is not positive enough;behavioral attitude and emotional attitude of Chinese teachers in primary school towards unit teaching are exactly the opposite.In this regard,the author makes an attribution analysis from the aspects of individual teachers and the school environment,and puts forward suggestions for improving the enthusiasm of elementary Chinese teachers towards unit teaching.It provides references for schools and research sections at all levels,jointly committed to the implementation and quality of unit teaching.
