Chinese traditional culture has a long history.Chinese festivals compose an important and brilliant part of Chinese culture.They contain profound moral feelings and cultural values of the ancestors.Traditional festivals can promote children's traditional cultural cognition,personality cultivation and social development.In recent years,in response to the national focus on the traditional culture,many kindergarten regard traditional festival as an important education of teaching activities.But,the researcher found that the kindergarten teachers' teaching design ability was weak,and the implementation process did not take into account children's learning characteristics and other adverse phenomena.Therefore,this study hoped to enter a kindergarten for on-site investigation,find specific problems existing in the design and implementation of traditional festival teaching activities in this kindergartens,and put forward improvement strategies,so as to better achieve the value of traditional festivals for children's development.This study took D kindergarten in Shanghai as the research object,using observation method,questionnaire method,interview method,case analysis method and other research methods to go deep into the teaching site of D kindergarten,and found that the teachers of D kindergarten had knowledge oriented education concept and the selection of teaching content far away from the actual life of children when designing activities.Therefore,this study analyzed the ecological understanding of traditional festival teaching problems,the design and implementation principles of teaching activities,and improved the results of previous research.With the theme of the Mid-Autumn festival,four collective teaching activities including <the harvest Mid-Autumn festival>,<the Mid-Autumn cuju conference>,<the rabbit doll of the Mid-Autumn festival> and < the world Mid-Autumn festival> were carried out to reflect on and evaluate the ecological thoughts of education,integrated them into the ecological thoughts of education for reflection and evaluation.Through this study,1.The strategies of teaching design were as follows:(1)Taking nature and society as the background,fitting children's actual life;(2)With cartoon symbol as material,arouse children's interest in learning;(3)Based on popular games to meet the needs of children's learning style;(4)Based on the education ecosystem,expanding children's learning space 2.The implementation strategies of teaching activities were as follows:(1)Accurate questions and positive response,both basic and challenging learning;(2)Appreciate and encourage children to share opinions,support their personalized experience and performance;(3)Cooperate with parents to build up children's traditional festivals knowledge;(4)Encourage children's communication and cooperation and help them develop pro-social abilities.
