Analogical transfer of knowledge is a common phenomenon in learning process.Through the analogical transfer,students get to draw inferences from old knowledge and integrate it with new knowledge.Learning to transfer by analogy is extremely important for both teachers and students.In the context of the new curriculum reform,it is particularly necessary to emphasize the concept of “teaching for transfer” again.As a discipline with a huge and complicated knowledge network,chemistry requires students to have not only certain experimental operation skills,but also a rigorous logical reasoning ability.Therefore,in the process of teaching chemistry,it is a major tendency to improve the efficiency of chemistry teaching to facilitate students' ability of analogical transfer and promote students' association and integration of chemistry knowledge.On the basis of explaining the concepts and theories of analogical transfer,the author has compiled a questionnaire on how freshman students does in analogical transfer of knowledge.The questionnaire has been set up from four perspectives,including cognitive level,thinking set,abstract summary ability,and analogical reasoning ability,with the reliability and validity of the questionnaire analyzed.In order to comprehensively understand freshman students' ability and level of chemical analogical transfer and find out the factors that affect the analogical transfer regarding chemistry learning,a pre-test is carried out to investigate students' analogical transfer ability of chemistry.This study mainly focus on the test of the studnets in Senior Grade 1,and the purpose of the test is to measure the required knowledge in the first chapter of chemistry.Based on the result of the test,this paper tries to analyzesummarize and then put forward several specifical teaching methods of analogical transfer.The creativity of this airticle is the usage of the four-step teaching method,which is based on the guidance of the analogical transfer theory.It mainly starts from two aspects,the chemical knowledge and the design of teaching method respectively.The experimental class and the control class are set up,and the four-step teaching method is carried out in the experimental class.After a period time of teaching differently,a post-test is given to measuretheir knowledge level and their analogical transfer ability.Finally,the four-step teaching method,based on the theory of analogical transfer,do improve the studnent's ability of analogical transfer dramatically?...
