With the rapid development of education modernization,the intelligent teaching environment has begun to influence the way of teaching and learning,and has also begun to change the ecology,philosophy and culture of education.The Education Informationization 2.0 Action Plan requires that we should research and utilize the new technologies actively,such as the Internet of Things,artificial intelligence and big data.And we should also actively explore the innovative research of intellectual education,promote the transformation of the education mode and the reconstruction of education ecology.However,in the classroom teaching practice,many schools still adopt the teaching method of "blackboard + PPT".Such classroom teaching not only limits students' imagination and thinking ability,but also fails to fulfill the requirements of cultivating people with morality and comprehensively developing students' core qualities.Education APP based on Virtual Reality technology has the characteristics of mobile,social,gamification,personalization,intelligentization and situational interaction.It plays a unique role in promoting the interaction between teachers and students in class,activating the classroom atmosphere and improving the teaching quality.First,this paper describes the background,significance and methods of the research,and domestic and foreign research status about education APP and virtual reality etc in detail.Then combining the theory of constructivism,situated learning theory,immersive learning theory and relevant theory,the third chapter of this paper analyzes the current situation of the biology learning,teaching and teaching contents in junior high school which are under the background of competence by the way of questionnaire and interview.Meanwhile,the APP users' requirements and functional requirements are also analyzed.Taking the Compulsory Education Biology Curriculum Standard and four key elements in biology competence,such as life idea,scientific thinking,scientific inquiry and social responsibility as the principle,the overall architecture and function of the APP are designed.This paper takes the Google Cardboard open source SDK as the underlying core structure and uses 3D Max to build the digestive system 3D model.Then imported the digestive system 3D model into the Unity 3D game development engine,the APP was designed and developed.And the development idea,development tools,development process,related technology and the development process,such as interface and code are also introduced.The fourth chapter of this paper analyzes the thought of using APP for applied research and a teaching design in the digestive system.The teaching design that takes two classes' students in Grade Seven of R city a middle school as the research object.In the comparative class,the teacher uses the traditional teaching mode and has classes with PPT.But in the experimental class,the teacher is just a guide who uses APP and VR equipment as a teaching aid.According to the learning case,the teacher guides the students to solve the problem and situations that teachers created in advance by team cooperation.Then the students can construct and transfer the knowledge and promote the students' core qualities.Finally,using performance evaluation scale of students and some ways,such as the teacher interviews,questionnaire and students' knowledge and skills test,this paper analyzes the implementation process and the evaluation result between the comparative classes and experimental classes.Through the analysis of relevant data,the feasibility of VR technology in biology teaching is demonstrated,and its value in biology teaching and its role and significance in cultivating and developing students' core qualities are explored.Through the research process of APP's design,development and application and related data analysis,this paper clarifies the development ideas,methods and process of the teaching APP based on VR.And it enriches the teaching mode in the primary and secondary school classroom.At the same time,the students' interest in learning,autonomous learning consciousness and ability,the ability of knowledge construction,the consciousness of team cooperation,logical thinking and reasoning skills are all improved.This paper actively uses biology knowledge and methods,focuses on the social hot spots,participates in discussions and makes a scientific and rational explanation.Therefore,this study has a certain value.
