| With the rise and vigorous promotion of innovation-driven development in China,the cultivation of innovative talents has become an urgent requirement of contemporary society.Prime Minister Li Keqiang proposed “Mass Entrepreneurship and Innovation” in 2015.Since then,the craze for innovation and entrepreneurship has gradually spread across the country,and maker education has sprung up;more and more schools have also joined in the maker education team,maker education is carried out.The robot maker course emphasizes that students combine hands-on and brain-money,pay attention to the development of students’ practical ability and the cultivation of innovative spirit,which is an important form of maker education.However,there are still many problems to be solved in the development of robot education in China.The most important one is the lack of systematic and effective teaching design for the development of robot maker courses.Therefore,this research adopts the maker education concept as a conceptual guide,and comprehensively uses research methods such as literature research method,questionnaire survey method,interview method,educational action research and educational experimental research to carry out the teaching design and practical work of the open source robot maker course in primary schools with a view to forming a reasonable effective teaching design solves practical problems in the implementation of the course,promotes the cultivation and improvement of students’ practical and creative abilities,and cultivates the spirit of innovation,and provides a reference for the future teaching research and practical work of the robot maker course.Based on understanding the research background and current status of robot education and maker education at home and abroad,this paper investigates the current learning situation of middle school students in the open source robot maker course in primary school based on the constructivism learning theory,multiple intelligence theory and "learning by doing" theory.Aiming at the problems in the implementation of the courses shown in the survey results,it was proposed to deeply and effectively integrate the maker education concept with open source robotics teaching,and carry out the teaching design of the open source robotics maker course in primary schools;on this basis,according to the teaching design,the corresponding teaching practice was carried out in KX Experimental Primary School in Taicang City.After the practice,the four aspects of the teaching implementation effect,student works,student attitude to learning robots,and students’ creative tendencies were analyzed.Statistical analysis to draw conclusions.Through the research,it is found that the teaching design of primary school open-sourcerobot maker course is reasonable,effective and feasible,and can effectively solve a series of problems in the course of implementation,and achieve better teaching and learning results.Through learning,students are more interested in the knowledge,principles and programming of learning robots than before class.They have acquired a certain amount of knowledge and skills,and are able to design and make innovative robot works based on existing knowledge and life experience;through learning of the course,the students ’attitudes and creative tendencies towards learning robots are significantly different compared to before class,and the students’ practical ability,innovation and creativity have been cultivated and improved. |
