Extracurricular reading guidance is an important reflection of the extent to which the textbook writers of the Ministry of Adaptation have implemented relevant extracurricular reading concepts,and is an important factor affecting the improvement of language literacy of lower grade students.At present,our country is not paying enough attention to extra-curricular reading instruction in primary Chinese,and it is in a state of greed.Therefore,research on extra-curricular reading guidance for lower grades is of great significance for improving teachers’ extracurricular reading teaching status and the use of teaching materials,and for parents and schools to improve the construction and use of extracurricular reading environments.Existing research shows that the research on the extra-curricular reading guidance of the lower grades in Chinese textbooks is mainly at the theoretical level,and there is a lack of research and attention on the current status of extra-curricular reading practice guidance in the lower grades at this stage.Based on the above considerations,this paper takes four schools in M city as an example to investigate and analyze the specific implementation of extracurricular reading guidance in the lower grades of the textbooks compiled by the ministry.This research mainly uses the interview method and observation method to study the first and second grade teachers in four schools in M city as the main survey object.The interview method was used to conduct interviews around the five dimensions of 36 teachers ’recognition of extracurricular reading,their participation in extracurricular reading,the creation and use of extracurricular reading environment,existing difficulties,and construction opinions.The interview opinions of 14 parents and 11 students support.Observation method was used to observe the extracurricular reading instruction part related to the textbook,and the analysis was carried out with four lessons as an example.The study found that teachers have a high degree of recognition of the concept of compiling textbooks,the randomness of extracurricular reading guidance,the overall efficiency of the extracurricular reading environment is not high,and the main difficulty in extracurricular reading guidance is the lack of special time and guidance methods.The factors that affect the extracurricular reading guidance mainly include the writer’s positioning of the students’ reading degree,the school’s emphasis on extracurricular reading,the teacher’s participation in the extracurricular reading instruction,and the parent’s support for the extracurricular reading instruction.The following conclusions are drawn: schools are paying more attention to the cultivation of students’ extracurricular reading ability;the overall effect of extracurricular reading guidance is not satisfactory;there is a big gap between the writing concept and guidance of extracurricular reading;extracurricular reading of schools,teachers and families The degree of guidance coordination needs to be improved;the teachers’ ability of reading guidance outside of class is lack of pertinence.Therefore,based on the research status and the influencing factors that affect the extracurricular reading instruction,the following suggestions are made: The writer needs to pay attention to the reading differences between students when compiling the reading part of the textbook.At the same time,the compiling of the textbook must fully consider the matching and completeness of the teaching materials.Schools need to optimize the efficiency of the extracurricular reading environment and implement the textbook training to the end.Teachers need to pay attention to the change of teaching methods when giving extracurricular reading instruction,and popularize reading consciousness and methods to parents.Parents need to pay attention to the creation of a family reading environment,and need to provide effective reading guidance to their children when reading with their children. |
