Teaching resources are indispensable basic elements in Chinese classes and important foundation for promoting the development of Chinese teaching.At present,Chinese teaching resources are facing following problems:shortage of quantity,uneven quality,and lack of vitality of traditional teaching resources.The advent of the "Internet+" and big data era has provided a new development model for Chinese teaching.Mobile phone software,also known as "Application"(hereinafter referred to as APP),is one of the most important carriers for online learning and teaching,which enriches the learning methods of learners and promotes the transformation of teaching resources to digitalization.In order to further understand the current status of the Chinese international education APP and analyze its development trends,first,the author collected 143 Chinese international education APPs,extracted effective information to establish a database,surveyed and analyzed these data from four dimensions:platform overview,platform structure and function,platform content,and operation status.Secondly,selected two APPs with novel resources and high praise in the industry—"M Mandrain" and "U Panda" for case analysis.The author conducted structured interviews with the teachers,students,and operators of the platform.The content is analyzed and its advantages and disadvantages are summarized.Thirdly,a questionnaire survey was conducted on the use of Chinese international education APP and optimization suggestions with foreign students from many universities at home and abroad as a survey object.The survey was conducted from three aspects:use,demand and evaluation.Through investigation the author found that the construction of Chinese international education APP has problems such as imperfect market,uneven quantity and quality of teaching resources,immature profit model,etc.,and analyzed its future development trend.Based on the above survey and analysis,this article puts forward several suggestions for improving the construction of the Chinese international education APP,for example,Improve the incentive mechanism of the platform and increase the interaction design;Improve the quality of teaching resources by relying on the teaching resources database;Strengthen user behavior analysis,use new technology to design and develop resources etc.Provide ideas and references for the development and improvement of Chinese international education APP in the future,and promote the optimization and upgrade of Chinese international education APP.
