Research On The Problems Of Foreign Settlements And The Intervention Of Social Work From The Perspective Of Space

With the improvement of internationalization,the international division of labor is gradually clear,international exchanges become more frequent,and more and more foreigners come to China to work,study and live.Under such a trend,foreigners gather in a specific community in many areas,we call this type of community foreigners gathering area.The study of foreigners gathering area is a hot topic in current urban studies.In order to prevent and deal with the urban crisis and problems in the new era,it is necessary to make a more detailed study of foreigners gathering area.Among them,the spatial perspective has a long history in the application of urban studies.Many scholars use this perspective to find urban problems and explore countermeasures.From the perspective of space,this paper takes xiaobei district of guangzhou as an example to analyze the existing problems in the space of foreigners gathering area and discuss the intervention strategies of social work.The main problems in the foreigners gathering area are as follows: there is obvious estrangement between groups;the alien community presents the dual parallel community structure of local residents and foreigners;the foreigners gathering area has low identification and belonging to the local community;low community participation;hidden dangers and risks of community governance and other challenges.Aiming at the problems foreigners district,the author took part in social work practice during consulting case,professional,team activities,community activities,such as practice,through the provision of social work services,energized for foreign groups,to improve the ability of integrated into the community,create intergroup communication opportunities at the same time,the barriers to integration,change group parallel into understanding and trusting,create a harmonious,friendly,caring community space.The author summarizes the approaches of social work in the foreigners gathering area: Launch social work services to promote group integration;Break the space division and createharmonious community space;To cultivate and develop community volunteers to meet the needs of foreigners living and adapting in China during peak hours;increase investment in social services to better align the management and services of foreigners;The top-level design plans to create a foreign-related community space suitable for guangzhou's urban characteristics.
