A Study On Teacher Blanks In Activities In The Kindergarten Area

"Leaving intended blank" is a significant technique in Chinese painting.Painters emphasize the importance of blank and non-blank space.It plays an irreplaceable role in the layout of painting.Which kind of chemical reaction will it produce when it comes to kindergarten?In recent years,regional activities of kindergarten which as a complete free period for children have attracted so much attention,and it’s regarded as the best way for children to achieve diversified development.Although regional activities are full of "blanks",teachers are still needed to expand them in order to make children get the most appropriate development in regional activities.Leaving intended blank in regional activities not only reflects the thought of"children-centered",but also contains the infinite potential of children’s self-development and the mutual growth between teachers and children.This study used the observation method,interview method and case analysis method to observe and record the regional activities of one class in a certain kindergarten during a whole semester.Classifying teachers’ behaviour of leaving intended blank by analyzing and exploring the behaviour and development of children at the same time will help us find the infinite value of leaving intended blank.The study found that different blanks in different aspects gave children sufficient freedom in self-decision,free operation,cooperation and mutual assistance,etc.The openness made children obtain happiness and keep growing in regional activities.Meanwhile,children’s creation feedback to teachers.Both of them benefited from the "Leaving intended blank"behavior.After the analysis,the author summarizes the ultimate meaning of teachers’behavior of leaving intended blank and offers suggestions for reference that based on the research,hoping that teachers will leaving intended blank in a good way so that we can practically achieve the goal of "All for Children".
