Currently,the quality-oriented curriculum reform of modern vocational education is advancing vigorously,but the reform of the teaching,as the core of the curriculum,is staggering.In order to promote the reform of modern vocational education better and to achieve the goal of high quality personnel cultivating,the research on classroom teaching is extremely urgent.As a high-level in the vocational education system of our country,higher vocational education shoulders the basic mission of cultivating high-skilled talents.The quality of the classroom teaching deserves more attention especially.To improve the quality of teaching,the key is to improve the effectiveness of teaching.Therefore,paying attention to the effectiveness of teaching has become an inevitable requirement for higher vocational colleges to improve teaching quality.In this study,a higher vocational college was selected as a case to study the effective teaching of its specialized courses,mainly using the questionnaire survey method.Based on the theory of effective teaching,the content and dimensions of the questionnaire were compiled on the premise of referring to the existing dimensions of the questionnaire.Under the guidance of tutors and experts,the content and the dimension of the questionnaire were further modified.After the application of the exploratory factor analysis,the the questionnaire was finally determined as five dimensions,including learning achievement,teaching behavior,teacher-student attitude,knowledge width and teaching content,teacher-student relationship and interaction.At the same time,in order to comprehensively and objectively reflect the current situation and influencing factors of the effective teaching of professional courses comprehensively and objectively,non-structured interview was adopted as an auxiliary research tool.First of all,the survey results show that the effective teaching of the specialized courses in the higher vocational colleges is generally at a good level.The good results of the survey are mainly in the following aspects: the students' professional quality is well cultivated;the rate of the students' class attendance is high;the relationship between teachers and students is harmonious;the teaching objectives are clear;and the practical teachers' operational demonstration is highly completed.At the same time,some problems have been found.The internal development of students' learning achievement is unbalanced.Students lack individual guidance in large class teaching.Students' participation in class learning is not enough.Students' recessive truancy rate is high.Secondly,after analyzing the attribution of the problem,it is found that there are three main reasons.The main reasons of teachers are the lack of teaching ability and the heavy burden of teaching.The main reasons of students are weak of self-regulation ability and learning motivation.The main reasons of the school are that the evaluation of teachers' professional titles attaches more importance to scientific research than teaching,and the assessment of students' professional courses is loose.Finally,based on the above reasons,this paper puts forward the corresponding strategies to promote the effective teaching level of specialized courses in higher vocational colleges.The effective teaching level of professional course teachers should be raised comprehensively from three aspects of improving teachers' knowledge,practical skills and teaching ability.Teachers and class leaders should attach importance to the positive guidance and management of students' professional learning,with the teaching enthusiasm of teachers to ignite students' enthusiasm for learning,guiding students to establish a sense of goal.Class assistants and other class cadres play an exemplary role.The school provides strong support for the effective teaching of specialized courses from such aspects: implementing small-class teaching,highlighting teachers' teaching ability in the professional titles evaluation,emphasizing the examination of students' professional learning.Finally,the key to promote the effective teaching level of specialized courses lies in the implementation of effective teaching strategies.To improve the effective teaching level of specialized courses,we should not only start from the above aspects,but also depend on whether teachers can implement effective teaching strategies in the actual teaching process.Therefore,this paper also puts forward four strategies for professional course teachers to carry out effective teaching.Pay attention to the analysis of learning situation and optimize the teaching design.By setting up teachers' expectations and creating an active classroom atmosphere,students are motivated to learn.The teaching explanation is easy to understand,eliminating students' fear of difficulties in learning.Use a variety of teaching models to enhance students' professional competency.
