Under the trend of world education reform,our country gradually carries out the reform of basic education curriculum.As an important part of the curriculum,the compiling style of textbooks plays a vital role in teaching.At present,scholars at home and abroad have carried out textbook research in order to provide more reasonable suggestions for textbook compilation and teaching implementation.In recent years,the comparison of junior middle school physics textbooks in China has increased year by year,involving the edition of People's Education Press,the edition of Shanghai Scientific and Technical Publishers,the edition of Jiangsu Science and Technology Press(Suke edition for short),the Guangdong and Shanghai edition,among which Suke edition had been compared the most frequently.But I has not found the Literature about the comparison of textbook be published by Shandong Science and Technology Press(Luke edition for short).The two adjacent provinces of Lu and Su occupy the leading position in the comprehensive strength of education in our country.A comparative study of the junior high school textbooks of the Suke and Luke editions is beneficial for the users of textbooks to better understand the textbooks and provide reference for the revision of textbooks.This study uses literature research method to study the relevant literature.It is concluded that textbooks are mostly compared from curriculum standards,presentation methods,content of textbooks,and then suggestions are put forward for users and editors of textbooks.This study uses text analysis method to study the two versions of junior high school physics textbooks,and makes an analysis from the aspects of presentation mode,content organization and content selection.Statistical analysis method was used to analyze the number of columns and illustrations,the length of scientific inquiry and content in the two editions of textbooks.By using comparative analysis method,the textbooks of Lu and Su are analyzed and compared from appearance to content,and the following conclusions are drawn.Content presentation:the textbook structure of Suke edition is worth learning,and the subject appeal of the cover and the convenience of reading and searching textbooks of the Luke edition need to be improved;both of the two editions pay attention to the citation of illustrations,and the first volume of the eighth grade of Suke edition quotes most illustrations,taking into account the psychological characteristics of beginners in physics,and is worth learning.Both the two editions focus on presenting knowledge through sketches;the Suke edition focuses on the citation of illustrations.Suke focuses on presenting students'experimental columns,while the Luke edition focuses on presenting thinking and discussion columns.Content organization:Suke edition pays attention to the logical sequence of knowledge arrangement,and interesting content closely related to life in the first volume of the eighth grade,taking into account the psychological characteristics and the cultivation of interest in physical learning of students.The knowledge system presented in Luke textbook also pays attention to logical sequence,and the arrangement of knowledge modules is relatively scattered.The cultivation of novice physics learners' interest in learning physics and the guidance of physical emotion need to be improved.Content Selection:The content of scientific inquiry in the Suke edition covers a wide range of areas,and the Luke edition only sets up scientific inquiry in the thermal and electrical and magnetic modules comparable to that in the Suke edition;the scientific content selected in the Suke edition covers a wide range of extended knowledge,and there are many examples in combination with the frontier contents of science and technology and system engineering.It is beneficial to the expansion of students' field of vision.Luke edition mostly combines with students' surrounding life examples which are helpful to students' understanding of physical knowledge.Suggestions for revision of textbooks and teachers' teaching:the presentation of textbooks should conform to the psychological characteristics of junior high school students,pay attention to photo authenticity and situationality,and highlight the requirements of curriculum standards;the arrangement of knowledge should take into account both the logic of subjects and the characteristics of students' psychological development;and the selection of content should take into account the aspects of students' peripheral life and production,science and technology,engineering and natural system.Teachers should pay attention to guiding students to understand conceptual principles by illustrations;the order of knowledge teaching should take into account both scientific logic and the cultivation of junior high school students'interests in physics,adjust the learning order of knowledge modules according to the actual situation;and the choice of content should take into account the expansion of students' field of vision and the convenience of understanding concepts and rules in combination with life.
