With the development of the new curriculum reform,providing a blue print for the curriculum teaching materials accordingly has changed the increase of the auxiliary word is the highlight of the reform of teaching materials,which has the vital significance.In the current textbook "Morality and Rule of law",it mainly consists of two parts: the main body and auxiliary text.Auxiliary text is in an “auxiliary” position relative to the text,and supplements,explains,and expands the contents of the text.Although the auxiliary text is not used as the main body of the teaching material,it occupies a large amount of space as part of the teaching material,and it must have its existing meaning and value.Therefore,this paper takes the junior high school political textbook "Morality and Rule of Law" as an example,and this paper puts forward the application strategies of auxiliary essays in politics teaching in junior middle school.This research is divided into four parts.The first part defines the meaning of auxiliary text in textbooks.The supplementary text in this paper refers to the supplementary and illustrative part of the textbook “Morality and Rule of Law” in addition to the text.It includes six parts: “Reading Comprehension”,“Inquiry and Sharing”,“Methods and Skills”,“Related links” and “Expanding Space and Using Your Experience”.The second part is the analysis of the classification and functions of auxiliary texts in the use of textbooks.According to the different functions of auxiliary texts,the author classifies them into three categories: practice expansion,situational discussion and text interpretation.And the functions of these three types of auxiliary texts.The third part is the analysis of the problems in the process of using auxiliary texts.Through interviews,I find the following problems from the perspectives of teachers,students and teaching environment: Firstly,teachers use auxiliary texts inappropriately;secondly,students use auxiliary texts inappropriately;thirdly,students and teachers generally ignore auxiliary texts;fourthly,auxiliary texts are difficult to survive in the teaching environment.The fourth part is the strategy analysis of using auxiliary text.Through the in-depth analysis of the auxiliary texts in the textbooks,I put forward somesuggestions on how to use them in practical teaching: Firstly,teachers should change their teaching methods to improve classroom efficiency;secondly,students' learning methods should be transformed to create efficient classroom;thirdly,we should make joint efforts to strengthen the importance of supplementary articles;fourthly,we should combine various disciplines to improve students' comprehensive quality.
