Equation,as an important model to describe the equivalent relationship,not only plays an important role in mathematical learning,but also has a wide range of applications in life.The algebraic thinking contained in the equation is very important for mathematical learning,and the elementary school students' learning related knowledge of solving equations is the main way to improve their logical thinking ability and realize the transformation from arithmetic thinking to algebraic thinking.However,due to the transitional factors of pupils' cognitive development,there are some problems such as the dominance of arithmetic thinking in pupils' solving equations.Therefore,as the key to promote pupils' algebraic thinking,pupils' solving equations are attracting more and more attention.What problems exist in solving equations for primary school students? What are the main causes of these problems?What are the strategies to deal with these problems?On the basis of understanding the existing research,this paper defines the core concepts in the research,analyzes the requirements of mathematics curriculum standards for compulsory education on solving equations related knowledge in elementary school and the arrangement of solving equations related knowledge in elementary school mathematics textbooks published by pep.In the study,the author randomly selected some students in grade 5 and 6 of a primary school in jinan city and two primary school mathematics teachers as the research objects.With text analysis and interview method as the main research method,the author jointly compiled the test paper with grade 5 and 6 mathematics teachers and compiled the interview outline with the help of the guidance teachers in the school.During the internship,I collected the in-class exercises and test papers of solving procedures for primary school students,and conducted face-to-face interviews with two math teachers,which accumulated rich materials for the research.Through the collation and analysis of the text to understand the current situation of solving the equation of primary school students,it is found that there are mainly problems in solving the equation of primary school students,such as the dominance of arithmetic thinking,unclear grasp of equivalence,weak information processing ability and insufficient attention to test.After in-depth analysis of these problems based on the interview content,it is found that the main causes of these problems are the discontinuity of pupils' cognitive development,the imbalance and lag in algebra content arrangement,the improper use of teachers' teaching tools,and the separation between mathematics learning and pupils' life.Based on the analysis of the problems and causes,this study finally puts forward the following countermeasures from the perspective of teachers' teaching to solve the problems in the equations of elementary school students.Select and use line segments and computer teaching tools;Cultivate students' good habit of reading and testing;Strengthen the connection between mathematics and students' real life.
