good environment and sufficient resources for the development of education,and sports education has ushered in a new stage of development.Children’s growth is affected by both intelligence and non-intelligence factors.The continuous development and progress of educational activities in human society proves the importance of non-intelligence factors.Non-intelligence factors are the internal motive force of intelligence factors and ability improvement,playing an increasingly important role and influence in the process of children’s learning and growth.Non-intelligence factors are also the contemporary society.The key to talent competition and strengthening the development and cultivation of children’s non-intellectual factors have become a key issue in the education industry,which has attracted wide attention from all walks of life.The way,mode and mechanism of cultivating children’s non-intellectual factors are theory and practice.Based on the study and arrangement of previous research theories,this paper puts forward that chess can effectively cultivate and develop children’s non-intellectual factors.This research adopts teaching experiment method,investigation method,literature method and logical analysis method to carry out comparative analysis and research.Thirty-six first-year students aged 6-7 in Shanghai World Foreign Language Primary School were selected and divided into two groups: experimental group and control group.Eighteen of them participated in the chess training as the experimental group,while the other 18 students whose abilities and levels were basically the same as the control group did not participate in the chess training.As far as possible to ensure that the experimental group and the control group except whether to participate in chess training or not,other factors are consistent.After four months of chess teaching and training,through qualitative and quantitative analysis,the non-intellectual factors of the 18 students were analyzed and compared with the 18 students in the control group.Through experiments,the following conclusions and suggestions are drawn:(1)In addition to personality,there are significant differences in the individual and overall level of non-intellectual factors among the students in the experimental group.Most of the students can establish harmonious relations with teachers,classmates and parents.The training effect is very optimistic and participation in chess training does not affect teenagers’ cultural achievement.(2)Chess is the most significant motivation to cultivate non-intellectual factors of adolescents.The goal of chess learning and game is clear,and the change from achievement demand to achievement motivation can help adolescents produce strong achievement motivation.(3)In the cultivation of young people’s interest in non-intellectual factors in chess teaching and training,students’ individual abilities and teachers’ abilities are different,such as students’ age,personality,characteristics,teachers’ teaching methods,teaching strategies,etc.(4)Chess teaching and training can alleviate teenagers’ learning anxiety,form stable psychological state and respect social order and behavior norms.(5)Chess teaching has little influence on personality cultivation.The cultivation of psychological factors is a complex and long process.These factors have not changed much after the experiment and may be related to the shorter time of the experiment.From the experimental results,the experiment has no negative impact on these factors If the experiment time increases,whether it will affect these factors remains to be studied.Research.(6)There are significant differences in volition between the experimental group and the recommendations:(1)Intellectual factors play an important role in children’s growth,but non-intellectual factors play a decisive role in their growth.Therefore,if we want to promote the healthy growth of children,we must make full use of the main effect of non-intellectual factors,and strengthen children’s self-exploration and exercise ideas and practices.(2)Teachers and coaches engaged in teaching chess need to pay full attention to the key role of non-intellectual factors,and strengthen the exercise around children’s psychological quality and the absorption of practical psychological principles.In dailyteaching and training and competition,children chess players are given equal attention to the development of non-intellectual factors and technical and institutional exercises.Coaches need to be based on the uniqueness of chess,around the students’ different non-intellectual factors,personality,spleen and so on.(3)The parents of chess players also need to pay attention to the cultivation of children’s learning motivation,strong will,positive sunshine personality and learning interest,to ensure their vitality and passion in life,to think more from the perspective of children,to encourage children more,to set reasonable goals for them,and to give appropriate guidance,so that they can have a positive learning purpose and become A person with a broad mind.(4)Schools should also organize thematic activities of chess to strengthen the close ties between students,parents and schools,invite some professional chess players,world champions and chess celebrities to guide children in schools,improve children’s enthusiasm and subjective initiative in chess learning,and vigorously promote the activity of chess so that more people,especially
