After the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, functional training system began to gradually flow into China, enriching the content of the domestic training system, and achieved remarkable results.FMS(Functional and Active Screening)and corrective training have been gradually extended from the application in rehabilitation, competitive sports and mass fitness to other fields, and have been recognized in physical education.FMS test consists of seven test actions and three checking actions. It can find the problems of flexibility, symmetry, flexibility and stability in the movement. It can correct the problems in FMS screening, increase the control ability of nerves and muscles, and improve the quality of movement. Therefore,it is Important to improve students' movement mode and master their skills in physical education teaching. Therefore,in order to explore the application of FMS and correction training in Volleyball General Course Teaching in Colleges and universities, this paper adopts the methods of documentation, observation, test, experiment and mathematical statistics, and chooses two classes of Volleyball General Course in 2018 College of Physical Education of Shandong Normal University as experimental group and control group for 12 weeks correction training, and explores the FMS score and skill mastery of students. The results are as follows:1.According to the results of FMS screening, the students in the experimental class scored average FMS scores. The main problems are: unstable core, weak body control ability, insufficient strength of lower limbs, asymmetry of upper limbs, lack of flexibility and stability of ankle and hip joints.2.After 12 weeks of FMS correction exercises, the total score of FMS in the experimental class was significantly improved, and the scores of squatting, hurdling, shoulder flexibility and rotation stability were significantly improved. There was no significant change in the other four items. There were significant differences in squatting, shoulder flexibility, rotation stability and total score between the experimental class and the control class, but there was no significant difference in the other four scores. There was no significant difference in the total scores of seven tests before and after treatment in the control group.3.The FMS test scores of the 12-week correction training class were higher than 14 points, which was reduced from the high risk of sports injuries to low risk.4.There is no significant difference between the two classes in the final assessment of skills in passing and padding.
