"The Hardest Season for Employment" has attracted researchers’ attention to the employability of university students’.The increasing number of graduates enlarges the difficulty of finding jobs.But in the process of finding the first job,students with high employability can not only get jobs successfully,but also have more initiative to choose jobs.Analyzing the performance of successful applicants is helpful to identify the characteristics of high-level employability.High-level employability plays an important role in finding jobs.In this study,35 graduates who participated in the program "Only You" and were unanimously recognized were selected as the research subjects,qualitative analysis of their job-hunting videos was conducted through NVivo11.The Grounded Theory applied to video analysis process,the video content is encoded in three levels to form the structure model of employability.The paper believed that the employability of university students who succeed in employment includes three core categories: employable conditions,professional ability and professional quality.Employable conditions include human capital and personality traits.Professional abilities include informal skills,business skills and general knowledge.Professional quality includes employment preparation,career focus,career basis,professional attitude and professional belief.Each node has its own reference points,the nodes with more reference are more important for job hunting.Based on the data of this study,it is suggested that the employability of university students should be improved from three perspectives: employers,universities and students.The employer should assist the employment guidance work in colleges and universities,set up a school-enterprise alliance,provide a practical platform and evaluate job seekers in a diversified way.Universities should optimize professional settings,improve the quality of education,improve education evaluation and strengthen employment guidance.Students should independently increase the chips of successful employment,pay attention to the accumulation of human capital,strengthen the cultivation of personality traits and establish a new era of employment concept. |
